Is it possible to make a sequel to Deadly Premonition without losing what made the original so unique?

Podtoid 414

The first week of September is usually a slow one in the industry, but Nintendo really sent a jolt through the industry last week when its latest Direct unveiled a slew of new games. Chief among them, Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition and the out-of-left-field Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise. It was truly a great Nintendo Direct for all different types of Switch owners.

We cover those games and more on this newest edition of Podtoid. In the show, Dan gives us the rundown on Control, Chris gushes over River City Girls, Charlotte talks about her experience with the original Persona, and Occams details his hatred of needlessly complicated skill trees. All that, plus listener questions, on Podtoid Episode 414.

If you don't have time to listen now, you can always subscribe. The show is only getting better and it's our listeners who are giving us the strive to make this show the best it can be.
