If you’ve been watching television, you’ve probably already seen the video below the fold. It’s a commercial for Guerrilla Games’ Killzone 2. At this point, you may be wondering why exactly we’re pointing you towards an advertisement that you can watch on your television. Well, there’s a good reason — an interactive, extended version of the commercial will be up on the PlayStation Store at some point today.
The crazy, four-dimensional version of the commercial, ‘Behind the Bullet,’ allows you to mess with the camera, twisting it around the battlefield that it travels through. That’s not all, of course: the three minute long commercial will allow you to activate audio commentary from the Killzone 2 team and fool around with “visual filters.”
Of course, this is all possible because the commercial was made with the Killzone 2 engine. Pretty impressive tech, eh? I can’t wait to play the commercial whenever it hits this afternoon.
