I think I'm in love with the quirky Sushi Strikers reveal trailer

Sushi and the Banshees

Nintendo isn't done with the 3DS just yet! In addition to Metroid: Samus Returns, it looks like Nintendo has a brand new IP coming to the platform. Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido was revealed during the Treehouse stream today and the trailer is absolutely bonkers. It resembles an anime intro with its crazy music and cast of mysterious characters all striking ridiculous poses.

From the look of things, the gameplay is similar to any number of random mobile puzzle games, just mixed with a bit of action elements in directly attacking your opponent. There is also some kind of map you'll be traveling on, which just makes me think Mario Party. Thankfully we won't have to speculate too much as Nintendo has also uploaded a 15 minute demonstration.

Honestly, I kind of wish this was coming to Switch, but having more games for the 3DS is never a bad thing. It looks like Nintendo is really serious about keeping the two eco-systems separate and healthy into next year.
