Hulu Plus, the upcoming subscription-based premium content version of streaming television site Hulu, sounds awesome, especially when coupled with the PlayStation 3. But having to also pay for PlayStation Plus on top of the monthly Hulu Plus subscription as has been rumored? Not so much.
Great news, though: we’ve received confirmation that you’re not going to need a PlayStation Plus subscription when Hulu Plus launches broadly in the coming months. However, during the Hulu Plus preview period, a PlayStation Plus subscription will be required in order to access the services.
With that cleared up, perhaps Hulu Plus — which will allow full, streaming access to a massive back catalog of popular network television shows — is more appealing for PS3 owners. Well, is it?
