Publisher Microids has announced that it will be releasing a physical edition of MegaPixel Studios’ The House of the Dead: Remake — the “Limidead Edition” will launch on PS4 and Xbox One later in 2022.

The Limidead Edition includes a boxed, disc edition of The House of the Dead: Remake on PS4 or Xbox One, complete with an exclusive lenticular sleeve, a sticker sheet, and card mini-standees of two of the game’s iconic zombies. This edition was previously made available for Nintendo Switch back in May. It’s hardly a super-duper special edition, but will serve its purpose for those who still like to see their video game library sitting snugly on a bookshelf.

The House of the Dead: Remake is a ground-up rebuild of the classic 1997 Sega rail shooter, and sees AMS agents Rogan and G battle their way through the terrifying mansion of quite-mad scientist Dr. Curien — facing down all manner of undead corpses, unholy test subjects, winged monstrosities, and the awesome and extremely dangerous “Magician.” The remake adds features such as new weaponry and an all-new “Horde” mode. A Photo Mode allows monster hunters to capture all of the gory glory.

The House of the Dead: Remake is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
