The Japanese version of Home has an extra area called the Café. It may not have food or hardbody chicks serving drinks, but it does have personality. It’s a tranquil environment, compared to the audio visual assault that is the Theatre or Mall.
Sony is bringing the area to the US version of Home, but they need help first. Think tanks realized that “Cafe” is a bland name for an environment. To alleviate that issue, they have asked members to rename the space in a contest forum thread. According to the Message of the Day prompt in Home, the “winner gets a voucher for $10 worth of virtual items of their choice from the mall” and, well … a space he or she named.
The contest ends on Monday, but it’s hard not to suggest getting in on the action. “Mr. Destructoid’s Dining Room of Pain and Pleasure” sounds like a great idea.
