Here's a quick look at some new original Mega Man X series music


For the two legacy collections

Both Mega Man X Legacy Collections are coming on July 24, and as it turns out we're getting a decent amount of original content alongside of the standard re-releases of Mega Man X1-X8.

In addition to some new gallery extras and the brand new "X Challenge" mode that pits you against multiple bosses, we're getting new music, too. Capcom just put up a quick sample on their YouTube channel, which you can listen to below.

I'll say it definitely sounds like something more inline with something the series would host from around the X5-X6 era -- combined with a hint of SNK at the start -- I can dig it.
