As our crack team of engineers worked — and continue to work — on building you a better tomorrow, I spent much of the recent downtime playing Minecraft. (It seemed like a good idea.) We’re mostly back, and speaking of Minecraft, there’s a bit of hot news for the never-ending game.
Developer Notch has updated his blog with a teaser image for the new hell dimension that’s supposed to roll out on Halloween. You can teleport in and out of it, and a short jog in this nightmarish place equals a considerable distance in the outside world, among other cool things. We covered the update previously; it sounded rad back then, and now I’m thoroughly convinced it will be.
There’s certainly a hellish vibe to that screenshot, anyway. I dig it.
More information coming next week, in some form [The World of Notch]
