Have some frigid new Company of Heroes 2 screenshots

This latest batch of screenshots from Company of Heroes 2 highlights the ColdTech system of Relic Entertainment's Essence Engine 3.0. In the game, temperatures can dip so low that your infantry will freeze to death unless they seek out warmth from fires or buildings.

There will also be things like dynamic blizzards to watch out for, not to mention the movement-slowing snow itself which has realistic depth and will accumulate on vehicles. It says a lot for Company of Heroes as a brand that Relic can spend so much time talking about weather systems -- and that's perfectly acceptable.

The cracked ice in the header image is marvelous. I can only imagine how it'll look in motion.
