GoNNER is good, GoNNER is out now

Whale tale

While I'm not sure it'll have the sticking power of a Downwell or Spelunky, "the beautifully chaotic platformer roguelike" GoNNER is still a good mix of unique art direction, cool head-based powers and weapons, and arcane secrets to figure out as you slowly get better and farther into the game.

It'll run you $10 on Steam and GOG, or $13 for the Press Jump To Die edition, which comes with the soundtrack.

[Disclosure: Hamza Aziz, whom I worked with here at Destructoid for many years, now works at GoNNER publisher Raw Fury. This does not affect my opinion of GoNNER (fun to play) or Hamza (a little much)]
