Gizmondo exec finally getting jail time

fatsteve.jpg After what has been a long, bizarre series of events, former Gizmondo exec and Swedish mafia leader, Bo "Tjock-Steffe" or "Fat Steve" Stefan Eriksson, has been sentenced to 3.5 years in a California prison. While he skated last week on the car theft charges (due to mistrial), he was found guilty for drunk driving and embezzlement. Considering that he smashed a million dollar Ferrari that some men would offer up their daughters to Zeus for, into tiny horrifying bits, it's more amazing that he didn't kill anyone. Of course, as a member of the Uppsalla mafia, rumors of his involvement in murder and assault have been widespread for years, and he spent 10 years behind bars for ludicrously violent crimes. Apparently an associate and he broke into the house of a gentleman owing them money, punched him repeatedly in the face, held a knife to his throat and threatened to cut off his fingers. The witness later survived two bomb-based attempts on his life. Sending Bo Eriksson away for 3.5 years is not nearly enough, but we can always pray that he dies of syphilis.
