Get a closer look at Final Fantasy XIV's 72-person PVP

Frontline

In case you haven't heard, Final Fantasy XIV is getting the Rogue class and the Ninja job in patch 2.4 later this year, but before that, we're getting Frontlines in 2.3 -- a 72-person PVP zone. Thanks to the Lodestone we now have a closer look at the mode, which involves defending outposts, capturing objectives (hold the point), and the use of mounts.

We'll see how entertaining this PVP element is come July 8th when patch 2.3 drops, after which I'll give you my impressions to add onto our review up to patch 2.2. I sincerely hope it's more fun than the existing PVP arena.
