This is going to sound really weird, but I’m positive others felt the same way: about halfway through StarCraft II, I got a serious urge to go back and play the Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War games. Blizzard’s latest warmed me up to the idea of dudes in oversized suits again. At least, I think that’s what happened.
Similarly, this rekindled love extends to the not-real-time-strategy title Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine. We all had our suspicions that this would be a manly game in which Orks got their asses kicked — the gamescom trailer above confirms it.
As far as non-RTS Warhammer videogames go, this is pretty much what I would expect — and want, I suppose. Not a bad thing at all. How is Space Marine sitting with you?
