Gamejew: from Parappa to X-Play

2007-02-18 16:11:00  ยท  Papa Niero

Destructoid's theme song singer Jonathan Mann has put together a video chronicle of his life's work, covering his work with G4, a 3-year-story that culminated in writing the X-Play Musical. You can hear all the songs the gaming songs he's written over the years, including Unscrewed, Goodbye, selected song from "Xmen the Musical", cover of level 1 from Parappa The Rapper, and What's up Japan (Godzilla). If you've ever aspired to get your video game music on TV, this candid look at one man's slow and persistant rise to production cuts should be inspiring, if not entertaining.

PS. Don't make plans on Tuesday night. More on that later.
