Gallery: A Final Fantasy Tifa worthy of breaking the Internet

They're going to have to remake the remake

Riot Games character artist Blair Armitage aka @triangle_soup dropped a few fandom renders of Final Fantasy's Tifa Lockhart on Twitter, immediately getting over 6,000 likes. I'm sure we can help her break 10,000. The artist has been working on the model casually for two years, adding much more detail to her signature wardrobe while still maintaining the character's unmistakable identity. I just switched to decaf, so posts like these are doing German scientific wonders for my morning routine. There's a turntable video, explorable 3D render, and gallery attached below.

Given the incredible amount of detail this is going to give the real thing a run for its money. To my knowledge Square Enix hasn't released any high quality images of what the official remade Tifa will look like, despite some fake renders making the rounds last year.

The artist noted this on her ArtStation page: "My take on the FF7 heroine. I was inspired by the upcoming remake and the amazing work of the FFXV character team. This is my attempt at reaching that level of fidelity, even if it fell short in the end, I learned a lot. I wanted to stick close to her original design, but added a couple of new elements. Started way back in 2016, I've been gradually picking away and remaking bits in my spare time. Clothing textured in Substance Painter, hair alphas kindly given by Quixel. Thanks for looking!"
