Frontier: Milo tech not used in Kinectimals

Recommended Videos

The stories spreading yesterday that technology found in the “Milo” tech demo was used for the upcoming Kinectimals is incorrect, says David Braben, Chairman of Frontier Developments, the title’s developer.

Kinecticals has been in development since before we saw Milo,” he says. “It is built using Frontier’s own technology shared with other Frontier games in development, and ideas evolved from earlier games like Dog’s Life.”

“There has not been any involvement in the technology or design by Lionhead,” he continues. “‘Milo and Kate’ is a completely separate (and intriguing) development from Lionhead.”

So there you have it. There’s a little dog, but no human DNA in our friend Skittles.
