From Dust arrives on Google Chrome browser

Ubisoft has released Eric Chahi’s 2011 God game, From Dust, for the Google Chrome browser today. You can grab the game from the Chrome Web Store right now, where it’s on sale at an introductory price of $9.99 for the next week. Following that promotional offer, From Dust will sell for $14.99.

Slowly, but surely, the browser is starting to become a place where games are played. Chrome is looking a little bit more like a tablet interface all the time and Google seems to be doing a better job of playing the “all-roads-lead-to-the-browser” game than Microsoft did back in the old days. An accessible game with broad appeal on a platform practically everyone has access to seems like a perfect fit to me.
