Game with the Dtoid Community!
Hey everyone. Sick with the flu this week, so please excuse me. This one will be short.
FNF is looking like a ghost town this week and I’m sure that’s due to two games that hit this week. Before I launch into that, stop by the new Nintendoid blog and check out Shade and Strider’s heir to the old Nintendo FNF blog. Now, about those two games:
Bloodborne is the first of the two. Everyone seems to be quite enjoying it and that’s a great thing! If you’d like to have only fellow Dtoiders enter your game, how about everyone set their passwords to bloodtoid or something similar? Our own sexy Fenriff wanted to throw out that suggestion to you folks enjoying the game. I don’t have a PS4 or I’d be joining you folks in your werewolf hunting escapades. That’s ok though, because I do have…..
Pillars of Eternity, which is the second game seemingly drawing everyone in. I’ve stayed away from most news regarding this one, but folks sure are raving about it. Hopefully, I feel good enough to get some time with it tonight. I’ll at least make a character if nothing else. Now if you folks will excuse me, I need a toilet. Again.
New to FNF? Read this! Each week, a bunch of us Dtoiders get together to play videogames online! It’s a 100% community-run event, so feel free to join in or even host something yourself!
The planning for FNF starts in the forums, where community members sign up to host matches and post their pertinent details (game, time, Gamertag, etc.). Then, every Friday, reminder posts go up in the community blogs thanks to a dedicated group of volunteers, and I recap it all here on the front page to give it a bit more exposure.
To join in, simply send a friend request to the match host! If you’d rather host something yourself, sound off in the comments section below!
