Two classic Arc System Works fighters blow up on the Nintendo Switch today, with the physical launch of the Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Edition in Japan and Europe. North American fans can get in on the retro rumble via Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R, which is available to download from the Nintendo eShop.

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R launched back in 2012 as the final revision of 2002 release Guilty Gear XX. It is considered one of the defining Guilty Gear titles; a concise testament to the mechanics, characters and aesthetic style that is still rocking today in the form of Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2.

The Nintendo Switch port of Accent Core Plus R features all the original home release modes and features, along with a tweaked multiplayer system, Joy-Con support and the option to check out the rarely heard Korean soundtrack. Those picking up the 20th Anniversary Pack will also receive the original Guilty Gear, which first hit the PlayStation back in 1998.

The Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Pack launches in Japan and Europe today. Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R is available to download digitally on Nintendo Switch, priced at around $15.
