Unsurprisingly, the first chapter of FortressCraft has sold quite well. According to developer ProjectorGames, the title managed to reach 16,000 sales in its first day, making it the fastest-selling Xbox Live Indie game of all time.
There’s still a lot of anger over the similarities between it, Minecraft, and earlier games in the genre, but people are clearly wanting that experience on Xbox 360 — even if it isn’t a particularly great one. FortressCraft serves its purpose. I have to wonder if future installments will be as successful, though.
I suppose the games do have Avatar support, so probably.
