Fortnite releases Version 5.40 and PlayStation exclusive loot

Funky-fresh new content for all

Epic Games and PlayStation have announced a new batch of exclusive goodies for Battle Royale extravaganza Fortnite. The PlayStation Celebration Pack is available now to all PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Included in the cache are three aesthetic items, the Controller Pickaxe, Skydiving Trail and the Flappy Glider, all of which can be used to customise your character and make them stand out from the crowd... umm... although everyone will have these items. But still, you'll stand out when playing crossplay with other platforms... erm...

Players on other platforms also have reasons to be cheerful, as Fortnite just recently rolled out a new update. Version 5.40 brings with it the new Suppressed Assault Rifle, ideal for when you want to let rip without waking the neighbours. Also joining Save the World mode is the badass and sexy-looking mythic outlander; Field Agent Rio, rocking that FBI style. You can find Version 5.40's full patch notes right here.

Fortnite is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and iOS and Android devices.
