First Elder Scrolls: Skryim in-game footage impresses

Two months after debuting one of the biggest teases in videogame trailer history, Bethesda has finally released the first in-game trailer for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim today.

The in-game reveal accompanies the launch of the newly redesigned ElderScrolls.com, which will be your source for all things Skyrim. I’d tell you what that exactly means, but I can’t load the page — it’s probably getting hammered by everyone on the planet. Skyrim is kind of a big deal.

If you’re exactly sure why it’s a big deal, this trailer might put things into perspective. Claimed to be all in-game footage, it’s certainly looking spectacular. November 11, 2011 — when the game hits Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC — can’t come soon enough.
