Listing pops up for a Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes demo (Update)

Three Hopes demo

Should be live any day now

Although it isn’t fully live currently, a Fire Emblem: Three Hopes demo popped up on the Nintendo store recently. While it currently errors out if you try and download/access it, the listing clearly points to a demo reveal that will likely happen in the near future, so keep an eye out for it: especially if you pre-ordered already.

Typically, Warriors demos involve several early stages, potential access to the world map, and the ability to free play until a certain point in the game. At that point, you should be able to carry over progress into the full version. So for fans, it should be a meaty dive into what Three Hopes has to offer, and provide a glimpse into the new take on the storyline, as well as any potential gameplay adjustments.

Of course, it’ll also be an important showcase for something that’s deeply impacted Warriors games, especially on Switch: performance. While some can live with framerate issues, others can’t, and Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes demo will need to put its best foot forward if it wants to sell more people on the game leading up to launch. Performance hasn’t stopped Omega Force and company before, though!

Again, when it goes live, you’ll find it here, or on the eShop proper.

[Update: Nintendo has confirmed that the Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes demo is live as of 10:00AM ET June 8, 2022! You can play through the game’s first three chapters, and can carry over progress when it launches. Split-screen two-player co-op is confirmed by Nintendo.]
