Fire Emblem Heroes shares the love with Day of Devotion update

What becomes of the broken-hearted?

While some Fire Emblem Heroes fans might still be reeling from the recent paid subscription controversy, Nintendo's mobile-battler is hoping that players will still get into the lovey-dovey spirit of its cute new update, Day of Devotion.

Beginning later this evening, the new update brings with it four new heroes, all bitten by the love bug. From Shadows of Valentia, we have Faye, (rocking a Cupid-style cosplay); the flower-bearing Emperor of Rigel, Rudolf; the unmasked knight, Conrad; and finally a two-in-one in the form of lovebirds Alm & Celica. Christ, I'm so lonely.

Accompanying the new heroes is a new paralogue chapter, Lovely Gifts. And in addition to the Day of Devotion update, players will have the opportunity to unlock new five-star hero Silque: Selfless Cleric in new Tempest Trial challenges. The update will go live in-game today at 23:00 PT and tomorrow morning at 02:00 PT / 08:00 BST.

Fire Emblem Heroes is available now on iOS and Android devices.
