Fire Emblem Heroes goes FULL METAL with the arrival of mythic hero Lif

Nintendo has released - no, UNLEASHED - a new trailer for its mobile battle title Fire Emblem Heroes. Backed by screamy mid-'00s metal, the new video spotlights a single hero, a lone wolf as it were, headed to the roster tomorrow. It's Lif, the Lethal Swordsman.

So edge that you can cut your very eyes just looking at him, Lif is clad in dark, spiked armour and hides his handsome visage behind a thick veil of emo hair. The first King of Askir, Lif has made a pact with the Divine Dragons, one that bestows him with the ability to travel between worlds. As the Shadow the Hedgehog of the Fire Emblem universe, Lif is not one for words, but in battle is a dangerous and formidable opponent

During the Lif event, players will also have the opportunity to bag the following returning heroes: Ephraim, Hector, Lucina, Loki, Yune, Caineghis, Lukas, Eliwood, Hilda, Leif, and the star of the hour, Byleth. The Lif summoning event goes live tonight at 23:00 PT and tomorrow at 02:00 PT / 08:00 BST.

Fire Emblem Heroes is available now on iOS and Android devices.
