Final Fantasy XV gets gamescom 2015 trailer, no release date

Watch the new Final Fantasy XV trailer

Well, there it is, the latest substantive look at Final Fantasy XV, the game that started as Final Fantasy XIII Versus (PS3) and has changed considerably in the near decade since then. Despite the playable road trip demo, it still felt like we know next to nothing about it. Does it still? Yeah. That was not what I was expecting, I suppose.

Would've liked to see more summons, but I can see why you'd save them. Plus getting some idea of the story is worthwhile. In this case, it's stuff that happens 15 years before the events of the game.

Plus there's some dad/son hugging and, hey, it's that dog!
