Final Fantasy XIV beta registrations hit 1 million mark

New artwork released

We still have a bit of a wait (late August) to jump fully into Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and it seems that fans are growing just as impatient as we are. Square Enix said this morning that beta registrations have hit the 1 million mark already. Those of you that are in the beta know how busy the servers are getting -- now you know why!

Lead Character Designer Akihiko Yoshida released the above image in celebration of this announcement. And another reward is coming: special PS3 and PC themes.

Should you want to join in on the fun, signups for the beta are still open here.
