First PS3 screens for FFXIV: A Realm Reborn

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn gets a small tease with new PS3 screenshots and some artwork, as well as a few details on the PS3 interface and controls.

The new (and nice-looking) screens in our gallery show off a new UI for the PS3 version. You'll see 16 slots in an action bar, with the left and right sides accessed with the L2 or R2 buttons. You can map each side's eight slots to the d-pad's four directions, or the four face buttons. See how that works? Beyond this, you can set up 8 action bars, cycling through them with the L2 or R2 buttons.

As for this new artwork, you'll see old pals like Odin and Leviathan are going to be showing up for the party. There's also a peek at Skilled Chocobos, teasing some of the pet breeding side of FFXIV: A Realm Reborn. Finally, there's a peek at a level 40 dungeon.

My body (and PS3 controller) are ready!
