Fallout: New Vegas patch hits PC today

Fallout: New Vegas senior producer Jason Bergman has more news on an impending patch for the game. For PC users, it’s looking good: the patch will go live today. Bethesda expects it to show up on Xbox 360 this week, and as for PlayStation 3, well, PlayStation Network needs to be fixed still.

While many of us are anticipating this for the “optimizations and stability improvements” bit, you can read up on the full balance tweaks to weapons and perks on the Fallout forums.

Previously, Bergman said they didn’t want to put out the next New Vegas add-on until this patch was up. If the plan is to wait for all three platforms to be updated — rather than roll it out on a system-by-system basis — we might not see the downloadable content for a while here.
