Fallout 3 Survival Edition for the PS3 has sold out

PlayStation 3 owners that have been sitting on the fence judging the apparent value of Fallout 3’s Survival Edition versus the plain-Jane retail copy will no longer have a choice in the matter. According to Bethesda’s developer blog, the Amazon exclusive PS3 bundle is completely sold out and the special page for it has been removed. Also, Bethesda is saying that the Games for Windows bundle is “expected to sell out soon as well.”

If you’re unfamiliar with what is inside the packaging, it’s quite prolific, although a tad bit pricey. The Xbox 360/PS3 bundles hit at $130, while the Games for Windows bundle is $119.99 on Amazon. Thankfully, you can get all of this if you’re willing to part with the change:

  • The Fallout 3 game
  • Customized metal Vault-Tec lunch box
  • Vault Boy Bobblehead
  • The Art of Fallout 3′ hardcover book
  • ‘The Making of Fallout 3′ DVD
  • A clock that tells time Fallout 3 style

If you are an Xbox 360 owner and still thinking about ordering the Survival Edition of the game, I may be of some service. A long time ago I accidently bought the limited edition version of Madden NFL 07. It came with a bonus DVD filled with five movies about kids that play Madden in tournaments. It was awesome and definitely worth my money, therefore you should buy this crazy huge Fallout 3 package.
