Only a few hours left for you to make the difference between 24-hours and Rick Astley and me getting away with 12-hours and Metal Gear Solid 4. If you have not donated yet, DO IT. If you consider yourself a member of the Destructoid community, prove it. Donate. Help children with cancer, and do your bit with the rest of the Dtoid Army.
I’m serious here. I’m not doing twenty-four hours for the fun of it, and it won’t happen unless I get what I ask for. Twelve hours is still a lot, but it’s a pisswalk compared to what I could be doing. I got from Tokyo to Amsterdam to Heathrow to London to Kent on a badly blistered foot (which is still injured) with heavy bags and no sleep. I can handle twelve hours of SingStar. It will still be a laugh, but if people don’t help out, half of our live feed is going to be me sitting down and playing other PS3 games and having a great time.
I’ll be heading to Manchester soon where I will be meeting Wardrox of Negative Gamer. After we get things set up, we should be able to start the live feed at about 4pm British Time. Keep an eye on Destructoid at around that time. It’ll be set up the same way we did Podcastle Live II.
If everyone reading this had donated, we would have doubled the amount asked for by now. And nobody would have had to pay even half as much as they’d pay for a brand new videogame.
Right, back later.
