EVE Online getting new launchers and missile effects

The EVE Online team at the annual Fanfest event revealed today that spaceships will be getting all new launcher models and missile effects. This trailer debuted at the very end of the EVE keynote, and the fans loved it so much that they demanded it to be replayed immediately.

The new effects look great, but I have to say how the Icelandic heavy metal song made the video just ten times more epic. I even think the metal song is saying "missile" as part of the theme. Anyway, EVE players can expect this new update very soon.

We'll be bringing you more from Fanfest 2012 this weekend, including a extensive preview and videos on DUST 514
