If you have ever dreamed of discussing videogames during class without looking like that guy, you’ll be pleased to know that UC Berkeley is now offering a course on StarCraft.
Although I can easily picture the class instantly filling up due to students thinking that it will be a walk in the park, the syllabus makes the course sound pretty technical. You aren’t just playing StarCraft for credits here — you are also looking at the game’s inner workings and the science behind it.
Honestly, the class would go way over my head to the point where I probably wouldn’t enjoy it very much, but I can see how serious real-time strategy players would love enrolling.
