EA Sports UFC 3 is free to play on PS4 and Xbox One this weekend

MMA fighting action on tap

To celebrate tonight's somewhat muddled UFC 223 event, EA Sports have made their MMA simulation UFC 3 free-to-play this weekend for PS4 Plus and Xbox Live Gold members.

The trial will let you check out five hours of action (ten hours for EA Access members) across multiple modes, including Ultimate Team and Knockout. You can also take part in selected matches from UFC 223, possibly including those pulled from tonight's card due to people being silly. Despite being a one-on-one fighter, a Conor McGregor bus-smashing bonus stage is, unfortunately, not featured.

The UFC 3 free trial is live now on PS4 and Xbox One and ends Monday morning in North America and Monday evening in Europe. It is unavailable to anybody who has taken part in a previous UFC 3 trial.
