Dtoid TV Weekend: Drink until you’re green

Check out our full schedule of live content!

St. Patrick’s day is tomorrow and, because we do our best drinking at home (usually in the dark, silently weeping), we’re going to be sharing our jubilation with you all with another weekend of live programming from the charming folks at Dtoid TV.

And we have a doozy planned. The incomparable Jonathan Holmes will be sitting down to talk with Super Meat Boy and Binding of Isaac designer Edmund McMillen about his latest project, Mew-Genics on Sup, Holmes?. Phil is nearly finished playing through all of the Devil May Cry games on Chill with Phil, and he starts in on the home stretch this weekend by playing DmC. Plus, Johnny Luchador promises another evening of insane WWE 13 battles on Rad Show

It all kicks off right now with Saturday Morning Hangover! Why not come and sit a spell with us?

Check out our full schedule for the weekend:

All times are Pacific

SATURDAY

10am – Saturday Morning Hangover
Violent mayhem is likely to ensue, as the gang goes toe-to-toe in Dollar DashAnd, as ever, Xbox Indie demos and a visit to Dafoeverse.

[Ease the pain from the night before with a little schadenfreude brought to you by Destructoid’s Conrad Zimmerman, Jordan Devore and the lovely Katrina.]

12pm – Weekend Escape
Brett and Cait will be killing bugs (and bugging each other) in Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon.

[Hang out with Destructoid Contributors Brett Zeidler and Caitlin Cooke as they play through entire games with a focus on co-op. It’s a safe bet that Caitlin is probably going to get mad at Brett for everything at some point.]

4pm – Chill with Phil
Phil nears the conclusion of his complete series playthrough of Devil May Cry as he kicks off a run of the latest installment, DmC.

[Philanthr0py hosts this relaxed show in which he performs full game (and series) playthroughs.]

8pm – Substituted Reality
Kill off your Saturday, and possibly a few brain cells, while AwDamn gets his social on.

[Destructoid’s only PC-exclusive gaming show, Substituted Reality showcases a wide variety of games with a particular focus on first-person shooters. Hosted by the lovely, off-beat, AwDamn.]

SUNDAY

1pm – Sup, Holmes?
Come hang out and join in on the conversation as Jonathan Holmes interviews amazing people from all sides of the gaming industry. This week, he will be joined by game designer and artist Edmund McMillen!

[Join Destructoid’s most lovable Associate Editor, Jonathan Holmes, for interviews with his friends in the game industry. Participate in the live chat and get your questions answered]

3pm – Retroactive
Ryu Hyabusa will avenge his father as Crux pops in the NES version of Ninja Gaiden. We can almost guarantee he will become infuriated by birds and/or ninjas wearing jetpacks.

[On Retroactive, join Dr. Crux as he plays through a variety of retro classics. Come for the gameplay, stay for the snarky banter. Dr. Crux is not a medical doctor.]

6pm – Rad Show: Get There!
The Rad Show crew returns to the squared circle to bring you “Willie McCormicks St. Patricks Day Rumble n Da Jungle with Jethro Tull on a Scooter,” a WWE 13 event.

[Starring Johnny Luchador, Super Fantastic Videogame Rad Show: Get There! takes a lighthearted approach to gaming, with the guys usually focusing more on breaking games for ridiculous results than accomplishing feats of skill.]

8pm – Substituted Reality
Awdamn will help you finish your weekend off right as he plays another of those newfangled digital entertainments.

[Destructoid’s only PC-exclusive gaming show, Substituted Reality showcases a wide variety of games with a particular focus on first-person shooters. Hosted by the lovely, off-beat, AwDamn.]
