Just when Dragon’s Dogma couldn’t look more promising to me, Capcom goes ahead and puts a hydra in it. A hydra is a snake that is lots of snakes, and that’s just awesome.
Dragon’s Dogma looks to be all about taking on monsters several stories bigger than you, and this hydra is no exception. The screens show it ripping a village to bits, and looking pretty intimidating while it does so. You can set it on fire though, just like you can the griffon. This game is going to make animal haters and arsonists cream themselves.
The new screens also reveal some goblins, too. Who in Christ’s name cares about goblins?
