Everyone has goals, including Dr. Robotnik, and this video from Dorkly Bits reveals exactly why the mad scientist had in mind when he decided to turn all the world’s fuzzy little creatures into robots. Don’t let this clip fool you, Robotnik is still a bad dude, even if he just wants love. The whole mad scientist thing, and the mustache, kind of give it away. Dorkly Bits has had some pretty great videos in the past, and this is just another one. How many people actually question why the bad guys are bad in videogames? I know I don’t, not really. I just take it for granted that they are there to present an obstacle to overcome, without considering that they have dreams as well. Maybe this video also explains why he hates Sonic so much. Maybe Sonic laughed at his aspirations.
