Double Dragon coming to XBLA next Wednesday; Battletoads green with envy

GamingTalkHQ has word from a press release sent out by Empire Interactive, that Double Dragon will be gracing the Xbox LIVE Arcade next Wednesday. The title will feature the original arcade game as well as an enhanced graphics version and will retail for 400 points.

Double Dragon is one of those series that was the bee’s knees during the 90s, but like Pogs, The Cure, and Princess Diana, it hasn’t been very successful in the current century. Let’s hope this release is a revitalization of one of the finest depictions of brutal gang violence in the history of the medium.
