Divinity: Original Sin documentary digs into Larian Studios' 20-year history

Debuting October 1

Larian Studios has taken quite the journey getting from 2002's Divine Divinity to last year's Divinity: Original Sin II, the latter of which might just go down as an all-time-great RPG. The next documentary from the team at Gameumentary is a deep dive into the Belgian developer's 20-year history.

I'll never forget that time they made a game about a jetpack-wearing dragon.

They're a tenacious bunch. This trailer hints at some of the studio's ups and downs, and I think Larian founder Swen Vincke describes it best when he says "I'm incapable of making something small."

Look for the full documentary on Gameumentary's YouTube channel starting October 1.

[Disclosure: Destructoid's parent company Enthusiast Gaming helped fund this documentary.]
