Oh, Diablo III. How desperately we want to play you already. Today during Activision Blizzard’s earnings call, it was revealed that the game will have “external beta testing” during the third quarter of this year,” based on current estimates.
Blizzard president Mike Morhaime says that while the team is working hard to get Diablo III out this year, quality is more important than a specific release date.
Earlier in the call, it was said that if we don’t get another game from Blizzard in 2011, we can look for a minimum of two titles to come out in 2012.
