Diablo II, yes, II, just got a new patch

Bringing it up to date for modern tech

Man, that Diablo II case brings back memories. It was basically sold out everywhere in my local area (back when games actually...sold out!), and all of my friends had trouble finding it.

Nowadays you can just buy everything digitally, and if you want D2, you can just buy it. Blizzard has made it even easier to enjoy the game on modern platforms too, by way of a new patch this week. They basically just addressed compatibility problems and didn't add any new content, but the publisher did provide this note: "The journey starts by making Diablo II run on modern platforms, but it does not end there."
