Detective Pikachu is how to do video game movies right

Podtoid 401

It may not ever be #1 at the box office, but Detective Pikachu is certainly #1 in our hearts. The highly anticipated film pulled off what so...so...so...so many other films before it couldn't: properly adapt video game source material to the big screen. It's funny, it's adorable, and it's one of the topics on this episode of Podtoid.

We're shorthanded this week, but CJ, Dan, and Occams are on hand to talk games, Sony's State of Play, loot box legislation, what summons from Final Fantasy VII we can't wait to see in the remake, and other old games that deserve the AAA-remake treatment. All that, plus Bigfoot's on the loose with an axe, on Podtoid Episode 401.
