It’s common knowledge that our world sort of sucks right now. With the world economy in trouble, the fact that my credit card debt is piling up, and the cancellation of Mega Man Legends 3, it’s hard to find things that are amazing. One thing I know for sure, though, is that charity ROCKS and that it’s time once again for Dtoid to participate in the yearly Extra Life marathon!
Extra Life is a charity event started by the fine guys at Sarcastic Gamer in 2008. Destructoid has been a part of these efforts — last year, the marathon we ran raised over $6,000 in donations to benefit the local Children’s Miracle Network in Oakland. We are currently on lock for this year’s 24-hour marathon to begin on October 15th, 10:00am Pacific. Just like last year, we will have a full schedule of entertainment for you with prizes to give away, and all we ask is that you donate some money below!

This way, all of the money you raise will benefit your hospital of choice and count towards our collective goal!
