Delay: Plants vs. Zombies on iPhone

GAWD. Hurry up. This is my most wanted iPhone title. Plants vs. Zombies would be a finger flipping delight on my Jesus Phone. Tower defense with zombies until my batteies die, I say.

A tweet from PopCap drops the bad news:

Apologies for the lack of updates regarding PvZ iPhone. The game has been further delayed, but we are *confident* it will launch in mid Feb.

Uh-huh. This after saying “late 2009” and then “late January.”

Speaking of PvZ on Xbox Live, PopCap replied to the question of a release with this:
