Isaac Clarke’s go-to weapon in Dead Space, the Plasma Cutter, can be yours in Dead Space 2 from the beginning should you have a DS1 save file.

As Tweeted by Visceral Games programmer Louis Gascoigne, the save file doesn’t even need to be for a completed run. I know some people had trouble finishing Dead Space, so that’s a nice treat for them. And for all of us, actually — the Plasma Cutter was pretty much the essential weapon.
