Days of Play deals roundup: $46 PS Plus, $200 PS VR bundle, and tons more

Summer fun, for a price

Sony has launched their popular "Days of Play" sale, and essentially it's your chance to pick up tons of first-party PlayStation 4 titles at historic low prices - whether they're in physical or digital format.

For those that are going pure digital for instant gratification (and to avoid the awfully bright sun outside), we highly recommend picking up either a PlayStation Plus 12-month subscription for $46 at GMG or scooping up PSN Store Credit for 8% off in various denomination. Just make sure you use coupon code PS8 at checkout. As GMG have PSN Store Credit denomination in all types of range from $10 to $100, you can effectively get anything at PSN Store during the sales event for an extra 8% off.

In the physical products arena, the PlayStation VR Doom VFR bundle for $200 at Walmart is especially enticing, and in fact, if you're buying anything physical $35 or more, you should opt for Walmart as they offer free 2-day shipping while other retailers have a higher threshold and slower shipping. Games deals of note are God of War for $50, Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition for $20 and Dragon Ball FighterZ for $40. The exception to the Walmart rule is, of course, those with Best Buy GCU as any physical games can take advantage of the additional 20% off bonus from GCU's membership.

Sony's "Days of Play" sale runs through June 18 at participating retailers, though based on our experience, both Walmart and GMG usually keep the savings going for an extra day or two on select items. While the discounts are on specific items announced by Sony last week, we've added tons of other related PlayStation deals to the list below and will continue updating through the weekend.
