The “every game gets a comic book” trend continues with Dungeon Siege III, Square Enix has announced today.

The publisher has teamed up with Dark Horse Comics to deliver a Dungeon Siege digital comic book to fans this year. The series will be delivered as a three issue run written by Jeremy Barlow, with art by Iban Coello and Sergio Abad.

Great news on these: they’ll be available for free on DungeonSiege.com and on the Dark Horse Digital Store.

If you’re looking for something a bit more tangible, considering buying Dungeon Siege III at Wal-mart when the game ships on May 31. The big box retailer will exclusively be packing an all-new, full-color comic with its copies of the game.
