Cryptic Studios taking Star Trek Online beta applications

Developer Cryptic Studios is now taking closed beta applications for Star Trek Online.

According to an official blog post, the developer is looking for some warm bodies to do typical closed beta things — testing servers, “squashing” bugs, etc. To be considering for this thrilling work, all a hopeful has to do is visit the official Web site and submit an application to the studio. The selections are random, though.

No word on when the beta will begin or how it will be rolled out, but Cryptic has announced that it will announce a closed beta announcement date at “a later date.”
