Put your rat suit on. Vogster Entertainment wants you to test Crimecraft, an adorable MMO that is one part Grand Theft Auto, two parts Shadowrun and three parts Judge Dredd (minus the whole “Judge” thing).
Yesterday afternoon, the studio moved the game from closed beta to full-on open beta. You can get in on the action if you’re willing to jump through a few FilePlanet hoops and download the client. Apparently, the official Web site is also offering some sort of admittance to the beta, but it appears that the page has been slammed into 404-oblivion. Either way, the opportunity to shoot dudes in a not-quite-post-apocalyptic-but-totally-perpetual-world is available right now.
