Counter-Strike: Condition Zero is Valve's 5th Linux game

Pushes Steam's running total to 80 Linux titles

Following last month's beta release of Counter-Strike: Condition Zero for Steam on Linux, the game has officially launched -- for real. Not the most thrilling news of the day, I'll agree to that, however the brief announcement also mentions that there's plenty more where Condition Zero came from: "More Valve titles are heading to Linux in the coming weeks and months."

Slowly but surely, a tipping point will be reached where enough worthwhile games are available for Linux via Steam that switching over -- whether it be for Valve's living-room PCs or any other reason -- won't seem like a big deal. That is the hope, anyway.
